WHO: Goku and friends.
WHERE: Goku's room. The atrium.
WHEN: Feburary 14th, 0930. Febuary 15th, some time.
WHAT: Catch-all for Goku threads! Run into him dealing with the ship failing.
WARNINGS: N/A, will edit.

[Goku does not like being trapped. Goku likes being trapped in the dark even less. Sleeping in his room when suddenly the gravity turns off, it takes him about five minutes to wake up and then a few more very alarmed minutes to realise he's flying. After that shock wears off, alarm sets in. Okay, Goku, don't panic, you're just in your bedroom... It's dark, but he can still tell where everything is, even if some of it is floating in the air next to him... He just needs to be patient and wait for the lights to turn back on. Then everything will make more sense.
Patience lasts twenty minutes before it's definitely time to stage a break out. Kicking down the door doesn't work, that just sends him flying into the opposite wall. Pushing on anything just sends him flying and he's not tall enough to stand on the wall and push against the door at the same time... Ah, but he knows something that is.
To someone walking/floating creepily down the hall, Goku's metal door seems to be buckling outwards from one spot in the middle. It's slow, at first, a small, round dent in the center of the door slowly protrudes further out, then the whole door starts to bend around that point... Then in one quick movement the door snaps off and goes flying into the opposite wall, pinned there by a long, red staff.]
Yeah! [Still inside the room, Goku is hanging upside down from his staff still balanced between the two walls and grinning.] It worked! Way to go, Nyoi-bo!

[The next day, Goku has just about gotten the hang of moving around in zero-gravity when the systems shut off without warning. It's kind of fun, actually. But the ship is a lot creepier in the dark. Goku had automatically gravitated towards the atrium, but with all the power off... Goku shivers. It doesn't even feel like night. Without the artificial outdoors-ness, the atrium just feels dead.
That's when he finds a small group of young Trilk, gathered by some of the trees. Apparently, they're just as uncomfortable as Goku under the circumstances. Though they're not much shorter than him (these Trilk must be very young), Goku sets to work cheering them up and playing big brother. He can't actually speak to them or understand them, but drawing different people in the dirt with a stick and telling stories seems to entertain them well enough.]
-and this is Kougaiji, 'cept his hair is red and he's a bit taller than me. He's usually pretty nice, I think, but sometimes he acts weird. One time we were fighting but then this giant crab showed up and- uh, wait a second, lemme draw a crab so you guys know...
[Maybe listening to the weird alien make strange noises with his mouth and wave a stick around is just distracting enough to make the poor kids feel better about their lives. They click to each other when Goku pauses to take a breath.]

But oh no, there's more important things going on than Reaper's inability to grasp simple concepts.] Wait! The ship broke?! What're we gonna do? Life support means the food stuff too, right? Are we gonna float away? Is the food okay?
[Reaper's eyes are creepy, along with the rest of him, but there are more important matters to worry about now! Besides, it's already been established that despite his appearance, Reaper is a friend.]
no subject
What's more important is that the monkey is losing his head over... the food possibly not being okay. A hand settles over the front of his mask
Be strong, Gabriel.]It's not broken. Not fully. Just some of the support systems are down. I'd more worried about the air. Living things like you need to be able to breathe.
[He moves away from the door, waving a hand at him. Come on.]
There's enough air to breathe right now, but if the support systems aren't fixed soon, food will be the least of your worries.
no subject
Living things need to eat too! Food and air are both important!
[Perhaps air is a little more urgent, but food is also very important!
Be strong for your family, Gabriel.]Ah, I'm hungry now...
no subject
You can live far longer on just air--
[...
Did you just complain about being hungry? Reaper shoots Goku a look, and actually reaches out to give the monkey a swAT.]
Your life could be in danger and you're thinking about your stomach!?
no subject
[Goku flinches and goes flying backwards from the force, rubbing his head and glaring at Reaper as he floats away.]
What'd ya do that for? I'm really really hungry! I'll definitely die if I don't eat!
no subject
Don't you have any food in your room? Just go grab a damn snack.
It'll all go bad in a few days without any power, anyway.
[Helpful.]
...
Because you're not suggesting we go check on the cafeterias next.
no subject
I've got some stuff, but I'm getting sick of bananas. [Even he can only eat so many bananas.] Why can't we check the cafeteria? What if something's wrong?
no subject
...I'm assuming there's 'something wrong' all over the goddamn ship. What with how the oxygen filters are off and the artificial gravity's stopped working.
[Ugh.]
If we go check the cafeteria, will you stop complaining??
