[ one day bellamy will learn not to return to a room that had originally locked him inside. today, however, is not that day. ]

[ they're locked inside of the training facility, and have been for the last ten minutes. he hasn't been good company, grunting if spoken to, giving clipped responses in return. bellamy's tried to pry the doors open with his bare hands and has had zero luck, and so he's been scouring through the training facility for something to peel it open. of course, without the brute strength of heracles, bellamy blake will not have as much success as he otherwise hopes for. ]

[ looking at a punching bag hanging from the ceiling, he tits his head back and thinks for a moment. he could hurt himself trying to get it down himself, or he could ask his new acquaintance for help. ]

[ he opts for the first: lets get it down himself. ]

[ being an idiot, duh. ]

[ bellamy doesn't startle when he's addressed. in fact, it's almost like he hasn't heard cora at all. but bellamy, despite appearing like an idiot, truly isn't one. he unwraps his arms from around that punching bag and peers over at coran, noting his rich coloured hair. the only time he's seen him is in this room, and that's the only reason why bellamy peers at him with a slight narrow of his eyes. he's trying to recognise something about him, rummaging through the catalogue in his head for the faces he'd seen in that room he'd awoken in. ]

[ nothing matches. this guy's just as inconvenienced as he is. that's enough to get him moving, and so he doesn't even act like he'd been going at this alone with another in the room, too stupid and stubborn to ask for help. ]

I'm trying to get this down. [ he glances up at the punching bag, just in case it's not obvious what he's trying to achieve. ] See if it'll open the door. Can you grab the other side? I can't get it off the hook.
