// Jingle Mingle_ ➣ Sparkles and Spirits Late the night before, visitors will be asked to leave as the atrium is going to be closed for a few hours. It's completely blocked off from sight. In the morning, it will be open once again and the entire space is covered in a soft padding of snow. With more still falling! It's not entirely clear just where it's coming from or how they rigged it up to not even melt, but it's here. Throughout the day, the snow will keep falling though won't get any higher than one foot. Except for a designated area on the western side of the atrium. There characters will find copious amounts of snow to build forts or snowmen or wage an all out guerilla warfare snowball fight. Stationed throughout the atrium in various places out of the way are buffets and bars to provide everyone with delicious delectables and delightful drinks. These stations are constantly manned and refreshed so that nothing is ever empty or anyone is left wanting. Don't see a food you're dying to have? Ask and one of the workers will be happy to seek it out for you! Late morning to mid afternoon, there will be a gingerbread house contest. Everyone is encouraged to participate and show off their creative skill! All items needed will be provided to create your masterpiece. Various awards will be given out, including Best Use of Gumdrops. Once the magic hour begins, all the lights in the atrium will begin to flicker on. Twinkling lights in the trees and candied garden lights will mark the path appropriately called Candy Cane Lane, which is little more than a means to encourage a more romantic atmosphere with a walk around the atrium itself. ➣ Flannel and Frost Once night falls, the party is still going strong. More food is brought out and the drinks just don't stop flowing. Because what's a party without booze? On the east side of the atrium a large canopy is stationed with a dance floor beneath it just waiting for everyone to cut loose. A DJ will be playing all night with pulsing, hypnotic beats that not one booty can say no to. Invite someone to cut that rug or dance by yourself like no one's watching. It's time to cut loose! While walking through the atrium, be careful! There's enchanted mistletoe that will spring up anywhere at anytime and will trap anyone without restraint. (Did you think we wouldn't have this?) It hovers in the air with a soft green glow, encasing two passersby within an arm's length radius. Get those lips to puckering to get yourselves free! (A kiss anywhere counts, so don't fret!) Tucked away on the north side of the atrium is a large maze. It boasts to be the best activity for the holiday party, but those in charge could be a little biased. It's a mystery as to what goes on beyond the entrance and the only way anyone can find out is to just march right in. The rules of the maze are: 1.) No one goes in alone (max. 2 at a time) and 2.) If you feel too trapped or lost, take off the visor and the experience will be over. Upon entering, everyone will be given a visor and set loose inside. Each group will experience something different should they choose to go into the maze, so please go HERE for a customized maze trip! Everyone is free to stay as long as they wish, but around 3:00 in the morning, workers will begin dismantling things and ushering people out so they can clean. Once everyone is nestled all snug in their beds, they'll be visited by someone to get their holiday gifts! Happy Holidays!

[ though if nekomaru decides to suddenly turn on miyuki... boy, is he in for a big surprise. ]

[Welp. That may happen, but not just yet.]

Sure! The first and most important key is forming the snowball itself. Watch carefully!

[He shows the lump of snow in his hands and shapes it neatly into a ball.]

That is easy enough.

[ she crouches to grab some snow and form it into a ball! ]

But this would be useless if we didn't have an opponent.

[nodyinteam]

It's true. We'll have to seek one to act as your ultimate test. But for now, we do have a working test dummy...

[He looks towards a snowman that's been constructed some yards sway.]

You can use that guy for target practice!

[yotsubas]

[ she looks at where nekomaru is looking and nods. she doesn't say anything before throwing, but the snowball only lands about a few feet away from them. ]

Oh my... I'm not very good at this, it seems.

[nodyinteam]

Even the greatest of players can start off bad at a sport. That's why they that practice makes perfect! With that in mind, keep on trying!

[yotsubas]

Oh, yes... why don't we make this game more exciting?

[ she scoops up a ball of snow again, and seconds later, it turns into a ball of ice. ]

It should be easier to throw this, as it really is more like a ball this time.

[ she doesn't seem disturbed at all by how cold the ice is in her hands. ]

[nodyinteam]

[He's been roughing it without gloves himself, but Nekomaru still looks surprised, both by the sudden ice and the way she handles it.]

Whoa! Is that your magic power at work? ...And are you alright holding that ice like that?

[yotsubas]

Yes. I've been meaning to show you what I can do, and I thought that this would be a proper opportunity.

[ she takes a few steps back before running forward then throwing the giant ball of ice. it hits the snowman and down it goes! ]

It's not so cold; I'm rather used to creating and manipulating ice.

[nodyinteam]

[Nekomaru guffaws at her display of power.]

Well done! So that's your skill. It's not the same as a snowball, but you were able to strike very effectively with it. That's impressive in its own right!

[yotsubas]

It was much easier once the snow has turned into ice.

I can see what you mean... It's more solid, so that makes it a lot easier to throw!

[He holds out a hand.]

Sure, why not!

[ she scoops up another ball of snow and before nekomaru notices, it's turned into ice. then she hands it over. ]

I can make a snowman for you to target, as well. [ considering she destroyed that last one... oops :O ]

[nodyinteam]

[He chuckles as he takes the iceball in his hand and looks it over.]

You can? Alright, Miyuki! Set it up... Let's see what kinda snowman you can make!!

[yotsubas]

[ nekomaru might expect another show of magic, but miyuki heads to where there's a huge pile of snow and carefully builds a snowman.

[He lightly bounces the iceball in his hands as he watches her work.]

Hm... So you're making this one from scratch, huh? Is this a craft that you pride yourself on?

[yotsubas]

I've never made a snowman before!

[ there's so much innocence oozing out of her when she says it, too. ]

[nodyinteam]

Oh, so it's your first time! Well, want me to lend a hand?

[yotsubas]

You may stay where you are and prepare. This will be ready soon.

[ soon can't come soon enough, more like... ]

[nodyinteam]

You sure? We don't have all day, you know!

[yotsubas]

Oh, I'm sorry for making you wait!

[ well, she hurries in making the snowman now. eventually, it just looks like one small hill of snow.

... never ask miyuki to do anything that commoners do. ]

There. It's ready.

[nodyinteam]

You call that ready? It has no spirit! That's no snowman, that's a snow lump!!

[He steps forward towards the snowy structure and tries to hand the iceball over to her. But at least he smiles at the same time.]

Hold this. Let me show you how it's done!

[ miyuki should probably feel insulted, but she isn't. instead, she takes the ice ball and just watches him make a snowman.

please don't shape her sexy snowman into a shit. ]
