still, once they're in, she picks a far stall for them to claim, pulling up the control interface to start adjusting the targets. carolina's attention may not be on karamatsu, but her voice is ever so slightly warmer. training facilities always feel sort of homey to her. ]

<sub>[ As expected, all of this is brand new to Karamatsu, so he's taking in everything Carolina is doing, occasionally flickering his gaze to simply just look at her because wowee-wow, she's cool and hot. He doesn't take notice to a lot of things, but he does take notice to the slight change in her voice.

Ah! You're right, that might be best. After all, I have not even used this gun. Sombra-san seemed insistent that she get me one, however, and she purchased herself a matching one as well.

A gift from Sombra, was it? I get the feeling it wasn't really purchased. [ safe to say she's pretty familiar with the other woman, then. or other karamatsu girl, as the case may be. ] But I'd love to see what she picked out for you.

_{[ Karamatsu has been keeping his weapon on hand at all times, especially after discovering Rey's organs in the tree at the atrium. Of course, he pulls it from a holster that is under the outrageous jaket he's wearing. It looks like this. He hands it over to Carolina without hesitance. ]}

It does not fire bullets— it fires lasers. It is noisy when charging and crackles slightly when it fires and after time it will be too warm to touch by the time it is through with its rounds. I am unfamiliar with such weapons, but it came from the market.. ah, the black market.

_{[ He has no idea how dangerous it is, tbh. He's talking about it like its a toy gun.
Also, please don't tell him what a black market is. He followed Sombra there completely unaware he was surrounded by criminals. ]}

[ it's not like she would ever expect sombra to be procuring things through perfectly legitimate channels, so carolina doesn't even have anything to say about the black market bit. of course it's black market tech. it probably would've been back where she came from, too.

she's hardly listening to karamatsu anyway, examining the pistol for a moment to get some idea of how it works - and weapon identification comes easy to her, so she's comfortable with it immediately - before she thumbs the safety off. and then, a few seconds after karamatsu stops talking, carolina has the gun up and fired, a scorch mark dead centre of the target she's just adjusted. she hadn't taken time to bother aiming it, but she keeps it up, feeling the weight and warmth of it in her hand for a few long seconds before she finally nods her approval. ]

You might want to think about gloves, if overheating's going to be an issue.
