[Open] New Kid on the Space Block
WHO: Hunk & Open
WHERE: The Eluvio, The Castle of Lions or Bajikan
WHEN: Anytime this month, from showing up to exploring!
WHAT: HUNK IS NEW! He just got here and things are weird.
WARNINGS: Who knows! Will update as needed!
As if things weren’t already screwy. He’d woken up on a weird ship, and was handed a weird black and purple suit to wear. He was told what was going on and then shown to his quarters, where he found his Paladin uniform, which he changed back into as soon as possible. Sure, this black and purple thing was nearly the same thing, but it wasn’t his paladin armor, and that was important.
More important was that, though he was given a communicator, he didn’t use it just yet. Instead he pulled on his helmet and made a call out of any other Paladins of Voltron.
“This is Hunk of the Yellow Lion.” He started, and in the back of his head he heard Lance rib him for saying it like that. Clearly they would know what color his lion was. “Is anyone out there? Hello? Guys?...” That last part had a pleading tone, that he didn’t want to be here alone.
Little did he know he was dead last to show up.
After checking in on the Voltron line, he left the quarters, dressed in the yellow and white uniform, and wandered the halls, exploring. Searching. He belly growled when he smelled food at one point, but at the moment he was looking for the hanger bay. Or, well, maybe. Maybe stopping for food can’t hurt too.
Feel free to find him here or there, in a hall or near a eatery, or, more than likely, in the hangar bay, trying to see if there are Lions around.

After a bit of time he would most definitely check out the planet. Either with one of the other paladins or on his own. They’d given him tokens after all. There were seven locations. He might as well check each of them out.
Of all of them he would most likely be found at Gula, with his orange token, trying to find some interesting foods, some new techniques, and anything that would be delicious. There was also the chance of finding him hanging out in the Acdeia area. Trying to relax and find comfort. There were so many places to relax and be lazy that it almost made up for all the weird shit going on lately.
[OOC: “Prose” or [Action] welcome! If you’d like to talk about a start, you can PM me, or just run into him anywhere. Castmates, he’d gladly go anywhere with most of you!]

[ It didn't take long for Duo to get over his pouting about not being allowed in the red token district - not after he went in to Gula. Rapidly he forgot all about the idea of being mad about being a year off from being able to see what alien boobs were all about in the flesh - which was easy to do when he's got a massive platter of samplers in front of him like it's the most normal thing in the world for a short, reedy kid like him. His braid was even preemptively pulled over his shoulder to prevent anyone from getting any smart ideas,
Which was working gloriously until he backed away from his latest stand and -

[But he found food. And it was good food too. No more space goo! He was pondering over stands. everything sounded and smelled amazing. He felt like it had been forever since he ate, even if it wasn't.]

[ Honestly Duo could live without it - he's seen a lot worse than sex toys and naked bodies or whatever it was so jealously guarded behind those red gates - but being told that he couldn't go in was what had piqued his interest the most. He can't help it - he's an obstinate kid who likes to do whatever he's told that he couldn't or shouldn't do.
Because, hell, he'd killed people, was that red district really all that big of a deal? ]
Nah, listen, I backed up without lookin' so - [ A shrug. It was what it was, apparently. ] The real tragedy would'a been if any of this food spilled, to be honest.

Good sir, I can wholeheartedly agree with you on that matter. It would have been a tragedy to spill any of that. What... is that? It looks good.
[He rubbed at his cheek and grinned as he looked it over, then shook his head, nodding back to a stand that was making some form of deep fried meat on a stick. A meat he can't tell what it is.] Weighing my options first, but some things look pretty good.

I'm not sure if I'm good but, you know, whatever you wanna throw at me.. [ He laughs lightly, plucking up what looks like a french fry and quickly shoving it in his mouth. He'd also indulged in a huge version of alien soda and pretty much every kind of fried food that he could possibly get his grubby mits on, though as soon s Hunk's asking the question he's making a noise of insistence - pushing the tray at him.

Yo, try it! I think it's somethin' like squid if I pinned the texture right... [ He turns to look where the other boy was, hand flying up in over excitement fairly quickly. ]
