That is part of the issue, there is no way to tell if they have a city or town. Not now, at least.

[She scrolls back up to earlier notes she has taken.]

We would need to somehow make our way into their caverns, but that would require their trust. And so far, they appear very protective of their own, and are an incredibly aggressive species to deal with.

[firstrebel]

They'd take it as an act of aggression, and probably kill us all.

[ Hera agrees. ]

I wish there was something we could trade with them, but I don't even know what they would find useful.

Well, I have noticed they like shiny things.

[She frowns a bit, rolling her eyes.]

Specifically shiny things that do not belong to them.

[ Hera snorts. ]

Regardless, I don't think we'll get anything out of them without an interpreter. That's how you work with a new culture - you find someone already in that culture who is willing to work with you. You can't get anywhere without a foot in the door, so to speak.
