WHO: Beta Team
WHERE: Oros ; Trilk base
WHEN: ???
WHAT: Getting the Relic and getting the hell out
WARNINGS: none currently
[ So. This hasn't been the greatest mission. It's not the first time he's been out on one that's gotten frakked up beyond recognition. Likely not going to be the last one, either. And that's fine. Mostly.
Well, at least no one's dead.
There's been trouble along the way and Lee's body aches more than it has in a long time. Wounds are still fresh and he's got a burn on his leg that smarts like a bitch every time it rubs against his suit. The rest of the team—when they'd finally collected everyone again—isn't faring much better.
But they're here, finally. They're at the last security check. It's been touch and go all the way in but they're in the home stretch. Lee's hovering around watching for any Trilk that might come barreling through. Because he can hear them in the distance and it's probably only a matter of time.
He keeps his voice low, crackling over the comms. ]
There's likely traps inside, so everyone keep an eye out and watch where you step. Whoever sees it first, grab it and let's get the frak out of here.

[Hayatori merely responds with characteristic stoicism -- truly the life of the party -- and asks in his soft, forgettable flat voice:]
How is your ammo supply?
[He has not, in fact, touched the guns or ammo that he was supplied with. Two knives and the grenades have been perfectly sufficient for him. Rather than leaving them behind, however, he's simply carrying them in case anyone else in Beta needs an emergency replacement.]

Which is why he gets on the general comms and lets both teams know they have the Relic. Let it never be said Lee Adama can't be petty. Though, considering all the trouble they've gone through this whole mission, he thinks he's well within his rights to share they have almost completed the mission. Now they just have to make it to the LZ alive and Relic in hand.
He follows along after Re-L to keep her back guarded and trusts Hayatori to keep eyes in front while they navigate back out. ]
I think all of us have pretty low stores left. We're going to have to grab what we can on the way out to keep blasting through.

Such a good dog for a master you don't even know. Typical. [ She snipes, (though she doesn't elaborate on what the 'typical' thing is about) as always vehemently not-a-fan of the whole obedience without due reason thing. They'd not even met and known the people they were on this mission with all that long, and the thought that Carolina may have even had the thought to abandon them to stick to a time frame?
And, well, she knows a certain Mosk immigrant who tried that and it ended up blowing up in his face, but he isn't around at the moment. It all rubs her wrong.
Much like Lee does, at the moment, but at the very least she's not going to spurn Hayatori. ]
If you have pistol rounds left, Hayatori, I would appreciate it. I've attempted the rifle one handed and it's hell to aim, though still more effective I'd rather not end up with ricochet to think about as well in my trajectories.

Here.
[Falling back into silence, he concentrates on watching their path as they head on, doing his part to ensure as smooth an exit as possible.]
