( He says, sigh just melodramatic enough that the underlying frustration is difficult to pick up on. Victor had never been joking when he'd said he wanted to marry Yuuri before; he hadn't realised how deeply Yuuri had divorced himself from that possibility.
Still, now that he does know, and now that Yuuri knows how serious Victor is, he plans on changing that. In the most direct, blunt, on the ice, speaking a mutual language way he can come up with. )
The feelings? A glad and obvious goodbye to bachelorhood and happy embracing of the joy getting married to the man I'm in love with, however slow he was to realise it. I already know what I plan to skate in — and he's been so kind as to provide me with fitted skates.
( The suit he arrived in, theoretically. Or something like it, with proper alterations. By Valentine's, Victor's feet will have already gone through hell, breaking in new boots. Alas. )

He scrolls through the music library as he thinks aloud.]
Something powerfully emotional, but with the proper beat to arrange your skating to it. I imagine it's something like dance, isn't it? I'm familiar with that, too, you know? Often, the word choice of the person looking for the perfect song is very telling.
[After a minute or two, he finds the one that he'd thought of after a lot of consideration and a specific cluing in from Victor's word choice. He points the song out to Victor, urging him to click and take a listen.]

Very much so. Ice dancing is a different form of competitive skating, but most of us have a background in some kind of dance, doing what we do. Performances meant to say so much that they speak to the hearts and souls of those watching...
( He trails off, leaning forward to read the song title. It makes him smile, already a little amused at the dramatic nature of it; still, he's not planning to be subtle. Reaching out, he clicks play, eyes closing as he concentrates on the music. There has to be that part of it calling to him, where he's already seeing the rough choreography he'll be putting together... his eyes slit open, then open wide as the song moves past the intro slide, past even the start of its verses. The moment that he knows he can use this to say what is close to his heart.
He nods his head, shooting Eichi a big smile. )
Yes. Perfect! I can work with this! I already have ideas...
( His eyes close again and he keeps listening, making no move to turn off the song. He needs to hear it through to the end. )

[Personally, Eichi loves the dramatic. So of course he'd go for something like this, too. It really does work out. He watches as Victor listens, brightly amused at it all.]
Are you going to practice? I'd like to, if possible, see how you arrange it all. I may not know about figure skating, but as an artist and an idol, I can offer input if you need to know about "feeling."

he blinks and looks up to Eichi, flashing him a grin. )
I'll have to, yes. As long as you stay bundled, you're invited to come as artistic commentary. Doesn't mean I'll listen, but I'll hear it.
( honesty may be worth something. Victor's is largely as blunt as he is, offhand, most the time. )
It'll be at odd hours when Yuuri's elsewhere for any large segment of the new program.

[So, in other words, he definitely wants to watch.] It's difficult to keep track of time here, you know? So it doesn't matter to me when you practice, so long as I get to see it with my own eyes.

Largely because it had always been an if, not a when. )
I'll send you an invite when I'm about to hit the ice, but you know, you are welcome to watch when Yuuri practices. Or we can set up the video if that's easier at the time.

[Though, from the shine in his eyes, it's clear he's already imagining the feel of the rink.]

( Said with a finger brought up and pressed to his lips; there are a number of astounding changes in demeanor that Yuuri undergoes when on the ice, and Victor adores each and every one. From sassy, to hard as hell on himself; though it is harder, standing to the side and watching the pain and knowing there is only so much he can do as a coach, as support, as a love to mitigate what Yuuri does in his own head. Believe in me more than I believe in myself!
That he does. That he will always do. )
One way or the other, we'll make sure you experience the thrill of watching him skate from the sidelines of the ice.

[Eichi says it seemingly out of nowhere, but he's just admiring it with a smile. Victor's face is always pleasant when he speaks about Yuuri, and Eichi is glad to be able to witness it, as well as see them perform like this. He's eager for it.]
I'm envious. I'll be there to support you both from the sidelines, for whatever shows or practicing you might do.

( he admits this easily enough; paired with an easy sort of tilt to his head, considering, one finger tapping against his lips. )
It's nothing I would have expected. It's what we found.
( after months, and through a shared love of what they did on the ice, and it is so, so wrapped up in the sport that's defined both their lives. perhaps for different reasons; but no less striking ones. he seems to focus in on Eichi again after a moment. his smile is pleasant; an understated sort of pleasure he extends to a friend. )
Thank you. May you enjoy the surprise.
( Victor knows he sure will. )
