Oh, that'll be me! Sorry about that! [ He'd wave, but, uh. Yeah. Coran tries to squint his way to visual success, only to utterly fail. In lieu of that, he opts to very carefully pat around on the ground to figure out what his personal space status is. Don't mind him. ]
I've taken worse tumbles than that in my day! How about yourself?

I've been through worse.
[ Collecting himself, he gets his legs sorted out and pushes up into a squat. ]
Here. [ He reaches into the dark, holding out his hand. ] Take my hand if you can find it.

Well, I'm not one to back down from a challenge, darkness or no! [ He stretches his hand out in the general direction of Cullen's voice, feeling his way around until he can make contact with something hand-shaped. ]
Whoever's in charge of repairs certainly seems to have their work cut out for them.

They would not have difficulty lighting their vessel if they used candles like everyone else.
[ There's a note of haughty disdain in Cullen's voice as he says it. Not that the method of lighting the ship isn't convenient, what with never having to go around lighting candles and blowing them out, but candles are dependent on nothing but their wicks. He still doesn't understand what in the Void happened to these lights. ]
Why they've come to rely on this unreliable technology is beyond me.

Oh, I don't know. I've always found technology pretty convenient, myself! That's why I went into engineering!
[ Then again. ]
Not that a few candles wouldn't be useful right about now.

Engineering?
[ There's only one conclusion he can make to that, though it doesn't really fit with the size of the hand that took his or the impact the man made when he ran into him. So it's with a little dubiousness that Cullen asks; ]
You're a dwarf?

I don't think so! Not unless you're quite a bit taller than you sound! My name's Coran-- I'm an Altean. About average for an Altean, I think.
