DISTRICT 1 - CLOSED to Victor Nikiforov (
- [Though there had been numerous dangers on the last planet they’d visited, it seemed that the ship was no longer the safe haven he wanted to view it as, either. That was why, when they came across what seemed to be a lively area full of people and excitement, Eichi didn’t waste a second in finding who he could immediately drag with him off of the ship. Victor had seemed easy enough to convince, and before he knew it, they were entering the first district they came across. It required a red coin, which they both seemed to have, and Eichi was very eager to explore.
He had a feeling that this would be an odd one, when they verified his age at the gate, but there’s still something so shocking about walking along a street filled with shops and restaurants focused on both affection and lust. There’s no mistaking that the longer they stay here and walk around, the more he has some interesting thoughts himself, but he does very well in keeping that to himself, at least at the moment.
He’s not sure the same can be said for his friend here, who he keeps glancing at to check on. Eventually, there’s a rather elaborate jewelry store that he stops in front of, pointing at the glass and smiling over his shoulder at Victor.]
Are you planning on bringing back any souvenirs?
DISTRICT III - OPEN
- [For anyone who wanders into the district promoting want, they might run across a frail looking boy from the ship, hunched curiously over a very small patch of flowers. It looks like just one or two, nestled closely together, and Eichi quickly reaches down to pluck one from the dirt, ending its life just like that.
Turning to the first person he sees, he smiles and wiggles the flower a little between his fingers.] Fufu, there are some interesting rumors around this district, you know? They say that if you eat one of these flowers, you’ll become suddenly wealthy. ♪ Do you want to try it with me?
[Honestly he wants to make sure they’re not poison, first…]
DISTRICT IV - OPEN
- [Going from district to district can be a little exhausting, especially when you’re as sickly as Eichi. The weather is very nice compared to the last planet, warm enough to keep him from shivering, but cool enough to keep him from overheating as well. But even with the ideal temperatures, walking so much has Eichi short on breath, and it’s both that and this district’s comforting feelings that keep him here for the longest. He takes a couple of naps, curled up and comfortable wherever he might find a spot, but it’s when he hears about another interesting plant that he decides to work a little.
He can be found in a quaint little cafe, holding a teacup close to his lips and smiling calmly as he waves over any glancing face, either from the window or to whoever might have just entered.]
Fufu, relax, have a seat. Let me show you something wonderful I’ve just found out. I’ll even treat you to it myself. [For anyone willing to join him, he’s willing to pay for the lovely relaxation-inducing tea, so enjoy with him!]
DISTRICT VI - OPEN
- [This is probably the worst district Eichi could have wandered into. He’s exhausted by now, as even a simple thing like walking around and partaking in activities has his body tired, and the feelings that it brings out in this area are worse than normal. He’s always hated his weak body, but now, just seeing someone pass by so easily, with all of the energy in the world— it frustrates him beyond belief.
He’s used to holding these feelings back and appearing elegant, but this sick feeling is twisting in his stomach more and more, and he can’t even be bothered to keep his usual guarding smile in place.
Struggling to push forward despite his weak body and take what he wants, Eichi moves along, until it becomes to much and he’s left having a coughing fit on the sidewalk. There might be some blood, but pity won’t yield any nice results, right now.]
WILDCARD - OPEN
- [He can be anywhere except district V, the violent district, because he might die there; his body can’t take it. Otherwise I’m open to anything, and hit me up on plurk (

District 3!
But the other members of the team appear to be elsewhere, and besides... Emil definitely recognizes that arrogant little laugh. He stops, hovering in midair, considering what Eichi just said.]
Er, no offense, your majesty, but that sounds kind of dumb. How can eating a flower make you wealthy? And besides... don't you already have money?
1/2 yes even on a log, the face scared him
[There's just a small little gasp from Eichi once he realizes what it is he's speaking to. Even if he always puts on a strong face, even while facing a wild animal, this is unlike anything he's ever seen in person before. And perhaps all of the incidents on the ship have him even more nervous, revealing a surprised expression at first.
But that voice. He recognizes that voice, and the calling of your majesty is enough to confirm.]

For a moment there, I'm certain my heart stopped completely. How frightening. ♪ So this is why you needed gloves, Emil? You should have said so sooner, so I wouldn't risk a heart attack upon meeting you in person.
[Yeah, because that could be avoided, surely... He drops his hand away and puts a small smile right back on.] It's the mystery of such a strange rumor that makes it intriguing, isn't it? Fufufu, and besides that, the money that I use actually belongs mostly to my parents.
[Even if he does control the entertainment part of the family business now, he's spoiled.]
no subject
[Emil flits anxiously from side to side for a moment, debating whether or not to retreat. But the damage is done, and Eichi seems like he might be recovering from the shock. He still sounds a bit guilty, but if this guy can talk about flowers and rumors, he can't be that close to death.]
Well, I guess that's a little true. And besides... you can't get at the royal treasure from all the way out here, right?
no subject
[Royal treasure indeed. He wiggles the flower a little more, and then holds it out for Emil.] What do you say? A mysterious rumor like this runs from person to person in whispers in cafes and along the sidewalks. Could a flower truly grant wealth?
The two of us would be like adventurers, tasting nature and experiencing a thrill like no other. Or will you have me try it alone?

What...? Eating flowers doesn't make you wealthy. Who told you that?
[ Yeah, he's not going to believe that nonsense. At least not without some convincing. ]
no subject
After all, what can buy happiness but money? It's only this specific flower that's supposed to hold the key.
[Again, he wiggles it.] Aren't you intrigued? I really want to try it, but it wouldn't be any fun without a partner, you know?
no subject
I... guess. It seems kind of stupid, if you ask me. How is it supposed to help?
[ His hand extends and hesitates, hovering over the flower. ]
It's probably just a weird luck ritual.
no subject
[Eichi passes the flower forward a little more, gently urging it into Luke's hand as if to encourage him further. Go ahead, so he can pick another.]
If you think about it, whether it is "luck" or something more like "fate," there is a chance that you would become wealthy no matter what, isn't there? Someone like myself, who cannot help but be endlessly curious towards things like this, can't help but become interested.
But it's also of my mindset that I cannot make this sort of journey alone. [Now with his own flower, he stands.] Even if it is "weird" or "stupid," can you really doubt something that you haven't tried?

[Goku pauses mid-step when Eichi speaks up, turning to him with the most openly trusting and gullible face on the planet.]
That's really weird... Is it made of gold or somethin'? [Walks over and leans in to examine the flower curiously.] Hey, how much money would we get? Enough for a big feast?
holla holla get dolla
[He holds the flower still for Goku to see, and nothing about it screams money, but...] Going off of the words of others, there are endless possibilities. Has greed led to delusion? Or is this really a flower that will grant wealth? Thinking about what level of "wealth" is promised by such a small plant also has me shivering with excitement.
But they say there's only one way to find out. Shall we each try one together?
diamonds are a girl's best friend
[This is the part where the semi-responsible adults in Goku's life should step in and stop him from eating random, suspicious plants offered to him by practical strangers. But none of them are around and so Goku follows his instincts which have kept him alive this long and are therefor incredibly good.]
Yeah! Sure! And then we can buy meat buns!
no subject
[He passes that flower over, and then moves aside a few steps and ducks to pluck his own. Shaking it from any dirt and brushing away a small bug, he moves back over to Goku and holds his up like he means to toast flowers.]

why hello
Or how long it takes Yuuri to pick up on... )
Hmm? ( His smile is both pleasant and a bit absentminded. Strolling closer, he leans in to look through the window pane, eyes roaming over the various displayed jewelry. Including a set of very ornate, highly impractical cockrings; he feels like Chris would appreciate those in particular. ) I;m not sure how much jewelry Yuuri really feels like wearing. Did something catch your eye?
( Meanwhile, souvenirs isn't a bad idea. He needs to nab something for Yuri, in the end, since this is the one district he's kept out of; maybe he could browse toys, for his own edification. He wouldn't be buying anything without talking to Yuuri, largely because if it ever comes down the line, he doesn't want his fiance to be embarrassed at whatever Victor does decide to keep around. Curious? Yes, please. Fascinated? Even better.
... He shakes his head, nudging those thoughts back out of the way for now, finally giving in and texting Yuuri. )
There's some interesting ideas here, one way or another.
welcome to the thirst zone
[Haha... But wow, Victor sure is distracted. Eichi moves away from the shop window to step back to his side, curiously flicking his eyes to that wrist communicator. He may be polite and proper enough to not lean over him obnoxiously, but he's not going to try hiding that he's staring at it, either.]
Fufu, you seem distracted, Victor. Is it actually that you don't want to spend time with me at all? [Why's he gotta guilt trip]
it's a desert in here
Calling everything common takes away the magic of experiencing the moment you're living in, Eichi. None of this is common to you, and you're as uncommon as the rest of us.
( does he know the actual context? yes. but they're all humbled by circumstance, and he'd prefer a grounded Eichi to one floating in zero g. )
Anyway, I'm more impressed by the artistry the Fek have shown. Don't you think they manage a finer filigree?

Water won't cure this body of mine. [A little too cold, and a little less polite than he normally tries for, but he's focused. Finally, he calms himself and curls his bloodied hand, glancing back to Colette.]

he's almost thankful when someone calls out to him, taking a slothful moment to look over from the baked goods display case.)
Wonderful? It's free, too? (well, those are the two buzz words that get him meandering over and taking a seat with a hopeful little smile, placated by the atmosphere and doing nothing to fight it.) I'd be a little skeptical, y'know, about a stranger buying me things...
(a headtilt.)
Right now it doesn't seem all that creepy, though.

[He's speaking like a villain even more, this way. Still, he smiles, leaning forward over the table just enough to slide a menu across.] I insist that you try the tea I'm about to have more of, as well, but you can pick a pastry and I'll buy that as well. ♪ It will be a true tea time.
no subject
Yeah, there is. The frail and weak looking ones are sometimes the worst of all. (from experience and the fact that people have underestimated his ability many, many times, he knows this well enough.) Do you want me to pity you, or something?
(hand slapping onto the menu heavily, lagging with his full-body calm, smiling right back at him.)
If you're being this generous, I'm gonna accept. I'm interested in the croy-sants, but I'll have some tea if it's really free.

a new prompt for drunk yuuri
This was very different after all. Still, it's not so bad to take walks. It makes time pass a little slower, and when he's up here by himself in space, that's a little comforting.
He's pulled completely from his thoughts when he spots a rather familiar face while peering into the windows he passes. He slows his steps until he stops, and then takes a few careful steps backwards to peer closer. That can't possibly be Yuuri...?
He decides to venture inside with a gentle push of the door and a smile.]
Yuuri? Hello!
no subject
Eichi! [There's just the slightest slur to his voice as he drapes himself over his friend with a blatant disregard for personal space that's more consistent with a certain Russian man's personality, not his.] Are you here to dance, too?
no subject
[Whoa, was there a body swap here? Eichi has to raise his own hands to make sure Yuuri doesn't cause him to fall over or stumble, chuckling softly at the suddenness of it.] I came in because I saw you in the window, you see. ♪ Perhaps I should simply watch your dancing, if that's what you're doing.
