WHAT: Osomatsu appears! he makes new friends, finds his brothers, and has a grand old time on the planet where dreams come true...?
WARNINGS: swearing, substance use, and adult themes, probably. shouldn't be too bad


I) before Mar 8 - Eluvio - Shopping Centre [ota]

[so, this was it. outer space! Osomatsu has barely been on the Eluvio for a day, and he's already searching for a bar. he's got a lot on his mind. he's wondering how exactly he arrived... sure, there was a presentation, and some kind of explanation, but he had barely listened, because it was boring. and he couldn't understand the parts he did listen to. so he's left wondering why, and how. and if he'll ever get home.

at the same time. he's in freaking outer space! that's cool as anything! it's cool enough to almost make him forget about the crap he was going through at home. yeah, where his brothers all left the house...

it's been weeks since he's seen Choromatsu, and a little less time since he's seen the others. and he knows at least one of them is on this very ship, since one of the crew members made a comment about him already going through orientation. he doesn't know which brother it is yet, but he's going to find out.... mmmmaybe later. because he's not certain he can deal with it right now.

he wants to get drunk first! so Osomatsu is looking around the Shopping Centre, since he was told that was where he would find food and drink. he's passed a couple bars already, but he hasn't seen one that strikes his fancy yet. he pauses outside one of them, rubbing his chin in thought]

How's the food here? [he'll ask to anyone that's nearby]

II) Mar 9 - Eluvio - Black Market [ota]

[ha! a black market! on the fleet! no way! the rumors were right. it has all sorts of fun things to play with! your character maybe told Osomatsu about this place, or even escorted him there, because he wouldn't have been able to find it on his own. now you... can't stop him... he's rushing from stand to stand, looking at all the neat weapons]

Man, this is so cool! [we're all just waiting for him to say, what does this button do, and blow up the ship... better keep him on a leash, or something]

III) after Mar 9 - Bajikan - Avaritia [closed to Dorothy]

[when learning about the different districts of Bajikan, Osomatsu knew almost instantly that he wanted to go to Avaritia. legal gambling? casinos? seriously?! how could he pass that up? he doesn't have a lot of money, but maybe he could win some...

he breathes in the air, feeling great. it smells like fresh cash, and it instantly clouds his head with the desire for more, more than what he has, more of everything. he's not paying attention to anything happening in front of him while he's walking, because his gaze is pulled in every direction. so he runs right into a young lady. whoops!]

A-a-ahh! Sorry! Are you okay?

IV) mid Mar - Bajikan - Ira [ota]

[as much as Osomatsu loves Avaritia, he wants to check out some of the other districts, as well. he visits each of them, stays longer in some than in others. and then he finally finds his way to Ira. Ira makes him feel... complicated. his thoughts return to his brothers, and how they left him, and he becomes angry. he wants to fight.

maybe your character sees him trying to pick on someone twice his size. maybe Osomatsu is trying to get you to fight him! whatever the case may be, this NEET is way out of his league, but he's upset. he'll take on you, and you, and, what the hell, you, too! he's going to pretend you're Choromatsu and punch you in your stupid face!]

V) mid Mar - Bajikan - Acedia [closed to Karamatsu]

[someone finally managed to pull Osomatsu away from Ira. that... that was rough, man. h shouldn't have gone in there. how nice it is, once he gets to Acedia, where he feels so peaceful. he wants to relax, spend the rest of his days here.

at some point, or another, Osomatsu finds an opium den. and he decides to crash there for a while. he's lounging on a big red pillow, in cozy pajamas, inhaling the drug from a pipe and wondering what he's been doing with his life. this place... maybe he should stay here! no one would force him to get a job, he could be free and everyone would be nice and friendly... yeah, sounds like a good idea to him...]

[ she did make out with karamatsu, so there is that. it was—an odd experience. ]

I'm Dorothy Gale. [ she sticks out her hand for him to shake and all. ]

[relieable]

[oh, hey! a shake! Osomatsu reaches for her hand, totally oblivious as to whatever happened between her and Karamatsu]

Nice to meet you, miss Gale! I don't know if my brothers told you anything about me, but it was probably all lies and slander! I'm actually pretty awesome! [are you, Osomatsu?]

[fujita]

[ oblivion and ignorance are not bad states when it comes to knowing about what happened between karamatsu and her. ]

They hadn't actually mentioned you. Just that there's six.

[ having to tell her that he's awesome makes him not seem particularly awesome... ]

[relieable]

[they... didn't mention him? at all? Osomatsu looks shocked for a moment, then annoyed... then he pulls back, forcing out a chuckle as he rubs his nose]

I... I see! Those guys... must've really missed me! Must've been too broken-hearted to mention my name... [keep telling yourself that, Oso]

[fujita]

[ they didn't mention him at all to dorothy, but—she hasn't exactly talked to either of them a lot, so that might be excusable. and she feels a little bad for making him look so shocked. ]

They did ask me to keep an eye out for their brothers, so I think they missed you, yeah. [ okay, only karamatsu had asked. ]

[relieable]

[that's a Karamatsu thing to do, to be protective and worry about his brothers. in any case, osomatsu tries to keep his cool. he clears his throat, grinning faintly again]

Yeah... Well, I'm here now! But thanks for taking care of 'em while I was gone! It's not easy, I know.

[fujita]

You're welcome? [ it comes out as a question, because really— ] I didn't do that much. I don't even know them all that well.

[relieable]

[he was just trying to be polite! anyone who puts up with Karamatsu and Ichimatsu is okay in Osomatsu's book]

That's all right! I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunities for us all to get to know each other better, right? I mean, we're all sort of living together now, on the spaceship!

[fujita]

[ his brothers are a bit strange, dorothy will admit that. and by a bit, she really means a lot, but with everything that's been going on in her life as of late, she's not sure she has room to judge. ]

Yeah. If that thing ever starts flying again. Properly, I mean.

[relieable]

Yeah, I heard it was kinda messed up. [Osomatsu is fighting off the urge to gamble because he wants to get to know Dorothy better] Do you know what happened?

[fujita]

I just heard that some ships in the fleet exploded before everything went dark. And then someone or something started killing people.

[ it's a large part of why she's so happy to be off the ship for now and willing to explore the districts. why she's gathering plants to use for medicinal purposes, too. even if the ship has hot water and no one's tortured her yet, it's clearly not the kind of place she can just relax in. it pays to be prepared. ]

K-Killing people? What?

[fujita]

You hadn't heard?

[ oh. well. dorothy doesn't know much, but then, it seems like no one really does. ] People have been disappearing, and then some people reappeared. Dead. Or their body parts did. Some of their body parts. And someone was attacked on board, too, but not killed.

[relieable]

[uh... Osomatsu thought he was in space, not a horror movie. His expression becomes more horrified the more Dorothy tells him. This is... creepy!]

Did they... find who did all this?

[fujita]

I don't think anyone even knows who did it. So no.

[ sorry, buddy. dorothy doesn't like it, either. she's been carrying her gun everywhere again. ]

[maybe he should start carrying a weapon, too. He doesn't even want to go back to the ship now! What a pain]

Geez! [he shudders, wrapping his arms around himself] This totally isn't fair. First, we're dragged here against our will, and now I'm being told the ship is some death trap? They didn't mention any of this in orientation!

[fujita]

[ honestly? dorothy would recommend it. ]

Yeah, it sucks. [ but on the bright side, no one has tortured her yet and there's hot running water, so this isn't nearly as bad as dorothy's first trip away from home to oz. ] Your brothers discovered one of the bodies. Or some of its parts.

[relieable]

God. How did they... Are they okay?

[fujita]

Karamatsu was pretty shaken, but I think they're both all right by now.

[ she's talked to both of them since and they were fine. admittedly, karamatsu was making out with her and ichimatsu was drunk so who even knows? but they seemed fine. ]

[they're growing up so fast, finding dead bodies, making out...]

Hm. [he rubs his neck, thinking. maybe he'd have to have a talk with Karamatsu about all of this later. ...or maybe it was best to forget about it] What about you? You doing okay?

[fujita]

Huh?

[ somehow, it comes as a surprise that he should ask. a pleasant one, though. ] Yeah, I'm fine. [ hardly anyone bothered to check if she was doing okay in oz. even with the murders going on, even with space and everything, this place still feels more normal than oz. ]

[relieable]

[well, Osomatsu is weirded out just by hearing all this stuff. he can't imagine going through it, like Dorothy and his brothers have. so he's concerned. plus, he already considers Dorothy a friend!]

Good. I guess I should say something, like, let's try to keep our heads together, but now a part of me is wondering if I should just stay on this planet. [he's joking. probably]

[fujita]

[ dorothy isn't that quick to consider anyone a friend, but—friendly, certainly. ]

I've thought about that, too. [ joking or not, dorothy has. ] But I want to get back home and if the ship brought me here, maybe the ship can get me back.

[relieable]

[oh. that's a good point. Osomatsu considers what she says for a moment]

...I'm not sure I wanna go back home.

[fujita]
