WHAT: Osomatsu appears! he makes new friends, finds his brothers, and has a grand old time on the planet where dreams come true...?
WARNINGS: swearing, substance use, and adult themes, probably. shouldn't be too bad


I) before Mar 8 - Eluvio - Shopping Centre [ota]

[so, this was it. outer space! Osomatsu has barely been on the Eluvio for a day, and he's already searching for a bar. he's got a lot on his mind. he's wondering how exactly he arrived... sure, there was a presentation, and some kind of explanation, but he had barely listened, because it was boring. and he couldn't understand the parts he did listen to. so he's left wondering why, and how. and if he'll ever get home.

at the same time. he's in freaking outer space! that's cool as anything! it's cool enough to almost make him forget about the crap he was going through at home. yeah, where his brothers all left the house...

it's been weeks since he's seen Choromatsu, and a little less time since he's seen the others. and he knows at least one of them is on this very ship, since one of the crew members made a comment about him already going through orientation. he doesn't know which brother it is yet, but he's going to find out.... mmmmaybe later. because he's not certain he can deal with it right now.

he wants to get drunk first! so Osomatsu is looking around the Shopping Centre, since he was told that was where he would find food and drink. he's passed a couple bars already, but he hasn't seen one that strikes his fancy yet. he pauses outside one of them, rubbing his chin in thought]

How's the food here? [he'll ask to anyone that's nearby]

II) Mar 9 - Eluvio - Black Market [ota]

[ha! a black market! on the fleet! no way! the rumors were right. it has all sorts of fun things to play with! your character maybe told Osomatsu about this place, or even escorted him there, because he wouldn't have been able to find it on his own. now you... can't stop him... he's rushing from stand to stand, looking at all the neat weapons]

Man, this is so cool! [we're all just waiting for him to say, what does this button do, and blow up the ship... better keep him on a leash, or something]

III) after Mar 9 - Bajikan - Avaritia [closed to Dorothy]

[when learning about the different districts of Bajikan, Osomatsu knew almost instantly that he wanted to go to Avaritia. legal gambling? casinos? seriously?! how could he pass that up? he doesn't have a lot of money, but maybe he could win some...

he breathes in the air, feeling great. it smells like fresh cash, and it instantly clouds his head with the desire for more, more than what he has, more of everything. he's not paying attention to anything happening in front of him while he's walking, because his gaze is pulled in every direction. so he runs right into a young lady. whoops!]

A-a-ahh! Sorry! Are you okay?

IV) mid Mar - Bajikan - Ira [ota]

[as much as Osomatsu loves Avaritia, he wants to check out some of the other districts, as well. he visits each of them, stays longer in some than in others. and then he finally finds his way to Ira. Ira makes him feel... complicated. his thoughts return to his brothers, and how they left him, and he becomes angry. he wants to fight.

maybe your character sees him trying to pick on someone twice his size. maybe Osomatsu is trying to get you to fight him! whatever the case may be, this NEET is way out of his league, but he's upset. he'll take on you, and you, and, what the hell, you, too! he's going to pretend you're Choromatsu and punch you in your stupid face!]

V) mid Mar - Bajikan - Acedia [closed to Karamatsu]

[someone finally managed to pull Osomatsu away from Ira. that... that was rough, man. h shouldn't have gone in there. how nice it is, once he gets to Acedia, where he feels so peaceful. he wants to relax, spend the rest of his days here.

at some point, or another, Osomatsu finds an opium den. and he decides to crash there for a while. he's lounging on a big red pillow, in cozy pajamas, inhaling the drug from a pipe and wondering what he's been doing with his life. this place... maybe he should stay here! no one would force him to get a job, he could be free and everyone would be nice and friendly... yeah, sounds like a good idea to him...]

[ichimyatsu]

[Ichimatsu didn't like Ira. The whole district made him tense and unhappy, and the flora wasn't even supremely useful. One of them he couldn't even figure out the purpose of, and he wasn't especially interested in staying in the district to try over and over again. He's rolling his shoulders in a constant effort to shed the uncomfortable prickling sensation of anger and frustration, headed back toward the black gates to free him from it, when he notices at least the millionth street brawl to his left. He only glances briefly, because he's seen too many of them and even if he's tense and annoyed he knows better than to try and meddle in something like that unless he wants to get killed, when one of the brawlers moves aside and a participant is horribly familiar.]

[Even if he's still pissed at Karamatsu, Ichimatsu finds himself with a distinct lack of caring for which of his brother's he's about to go help beat the snot out of some strangers, the reeking stench of gunpowder making his aggression turn to offense that someone would dare try and hurt either of them. Osomatsu was their leader, and Karamatsu was their punching bag, and their punching bag alone. He steps out of his sandals on his silent approach, keeping to the shadows and approaching not unlike a stray tomcat.]

[It's not until he's scaled one of Osomatsu's attackers and knocked him down by his shoulders that he realizes it's Osomatsu whose defense he's come to, and a toothy grin pulls his mouth wide as he steps up to put his back to the oldest's.]

Starting fights already, niisan? You've barely been here a week!

[well, if it had to be one of his brothers to come to his rescue, Osomatsu is glad it's Ichimatsu. he's significantly less upset with him than he is with the others (even though Ichimatsu left the house, too, he reminds himself. left him alone...).

he laughs bitterly, nostrils burning from the stench of gunpowder. he's actually pretty impressed that his little brother managed to down an opponent so sneakily. that was amazing, makes him swell with pride]

Why not? These guys were asking for it! [no, Osomatsu, they were standing there dealing with their own anger and you butted in. he doesn't even know these aliens! but he cracks his knuckles anyway, comforted by the fact that he's not alone again] So, whaddaya say we give 'em a dose of the old Matsuno medicine?

[ichimyatsu]

[Don't start with that, Osomatsu, he has to deal with you and Karamatsu and sharing a very small space to sleep in, possibly smaller than their room at home, even, and he doesn't want the tension. He doesn't know how to explain himself, or that he honestly thought it was the right thing to do, or any of the other things that were going through his mind when he left, and frankly he wants to forget as much as is possible about having left and probably been decently progressing toward dying on the streets. Let's not open that can of worms.]

[He's nothing if not stealth-- he's not fast but he's a hard hitter, so the element of surprise is a lot of how any victories happen for him. He snorts, shrugging, and keeps his shoulders pressed to Osomatsu's.]

Yeah, if we don't get our asses kicked.

[oh, they'll open that can of worms. later. when Osomatsu feels like talking about it. right now, though, he just wants to fight, and also forget about what happened back at home.

still back-to-back with Ichimatsu, he wipes his nose as the aliens advance on them]

Would you complain if that happened? Really?

[Osomatsu doesn't get to wait for the answer, because the first guy is swinging at him. thankfully, they're big and slow, and Osomatsu's a bit faster. he'll probably go down after one hit, but he's good to go right now. he moves forward, aiming for the other guy's stomach right off the bat]

RETURNS TO THIS,

[ichimyatsu]

[Good luck with that, Ichimatsu might walk out on the conversation. He scrunches his face at the question, shrugging and aiming to sweep the other guy's feet out from under him. He knocks him forward, but not completely down, and is promptly yanked off the ground by his ankle.]

I might-- complain a little.

[A yowl later, he's sprouted his cat ears and tail and swats wildly at the brute holding him up, giving him a handful of solid scratches across his face.]

We should go.

[Osomatsu is caught before he can punch his alien foe in the stomach, or what he thinks is the stomach. his wrist is grabbed first, and more appendages jut out of the alien's body and wrap around him. then he's being squeezed by long, gooey tentacles. okay, no, when did this fight become an AV?

it takes Osoatsu a while to wiggle free from the tight grip, and once he does, he drops to the ground. he's gasping for air, and he's covered in slime. and then Ichimatsu suggests that they get out of here]

Yeah... [huff] Yeah, okay. That sounds like a good plan... [wheeze]

[ichimyatsu]

[His ears swivel this way and that and he crouches on all fours now that the alien's dropped him in favor of yelling about his face, and Ichimatsu tosses his head in a direction beyond him and to his left, hoping Osomatsu understands the "let's go this way" of that gesture. He starts off on all fours when he runs, but once they're out of harm's way he stands bipedal again.]

Without six of us picking fights is a lot harder. [It's hard to tell if that's scolding or just an assessment.]

[Osomatsu wonders if it's easier to run using your arms and your legs, but he's a bit too beaten up to try. maybe some other time!

they are lucky that the group they were in doesn't follow them. they might be too irritated to fight. Osomatsu is just happy when they can duck into an alley and catch their breath. that... that didn't help at all! he wanted a fight and he got walloped!]

No kidding! Guess we'll have to come back here when we're all together again. [or never]

<sub>[ Somehow, they missed each other in Ira. Somehow, Osomatsu wasn't there to see what happened. Somehow Karamatsu hoped he could keep what happened in Ira a secret, but he feels sick to his stomach the more he thinks about it. It's been three days, but his face still looked battered and bruised. He looks.. exhausted in comparison to his usual energetic demeanor, wearing his perfect fashion of a leather jacket, cowboy boots and jeans. He doesn't even notice Osomatsu nearby as he goes to pay for session, not actually sure of what he was getting himself into or what this was, but he was trying to find any route of escapism he could.

He turns, eyes down cast and eyebrows pinned together, obviously his thoughts were focused as he heads aimlessly to an empty spot in the large, dimmed canopy. ]</sub>

[maaaan this is great. Osomatsu is completely immersed in... this culture? whatever it is that he's in. he loves it. he feels sleepy, and happy. and he should probably put down the pipe now, because too much of this stuff is really bad for you. ah, he'll pass it along to the next person that's coming in]

Heeeeeyyy. [he drawls, attempting to push himself up into a seated position. his body feels heavy, but he manages to lift his head] You wanna try so... some of... [wait, that person looks strangely familiar, wearing that leather jacket and those boots. who is that? oh, don't tell him! he knows!] Ka.... Karamachuu?

<sub>[ Of all the times and places to bump into his older brother, it's here. Karamatsu didn't even know that Osomatsu was here as he left for Bajikan before new passengers began appearing. He doesn't know what this will do, but he's willing to try, so he sits next to the nearest person to a clear spot he can find only to see...

Karamatsu rubs his eye that isn't healing from being blacked out and squints before a sharp gasp raises in his chest. ]</sub>

O.. Osomatsu-niisan...!?
_{[ boy, he's got a lot to tell you, but first: ]}

A—ah! My brother! Are you alright!?
_{[ family comes first. ]}

[it... it really is Karamatsu! Osomatsu can hardly believe it. he's seen Ichimatsu already, sure, and knew that Karamatsu was on board the Eluvio, but the eldest brothers somehow kept missing each other. that was fine, though! because here they were, now, and the last time Osomatsu had seen Karamatsu was when he... he, uh... left the house.

...you know, Osomatsu would probably be really cheesed off about seeing Karamatsu again if he were in any other district. but because he's in Acedia, and pretty high, everything is groovy, man. just perfect]

I-I'm fine! [he says as he crawls to get off the pillow, but he completely misses the drop down and goes tumbling to the floor. but don't worry! he's all right! he's laughing because he found that hilarious] I'm still fine! I'm great! Hi!

[glitterpants]

_{[ Karamatsu stares at him with a baffled expression. Whatever he was smoking, it was.. certainly really good. And usually, Karamatsu would probably stray away from whatever Osomatsu was getting into, but he just.. feels really terrible right now. ]}

... give me that.

_{[ He takes the pipe from his brother, obviously looking tense and for some reason can't look at him directly. He sounds irritated when he speaks, closing his eyes. ]}

How come you didn't come look for me when you got here? _{[ he doesn't guess it matters now, but.. ]}

Never mind. There is, ah.. a lot you need to know, my brother. I'm very blessed you know you're here.

[there were a lot of reasons why Osomatsu did not seek Karamatsu out right off the bat. selfish reasons, mostly. but Osomatsu is totally not thinking about those right now. he is thinking about what Karamatsu says next, that he's blessed to know that Osomatsu is here.

the happiness Osomatsu feels increases tenfold. though, when he gets up, he seems to finally notice that... Karamatsu looks like shit. he crawls away from his pillow, over into Karamatsu's space, getting up on his knees and gingerly reaching for his face]

The hell h-happened to you? What happened to your eye?

[glitterpants]

<sub>[ go home, niisan, you're drunk. ]

[ Karamatsu actually grimaces when Osomatsu gets closer to him and even tries reaching for his face, leaning back away as if he didn't want to be touched. He's certain the air in Acedia and whatever Osomatsu was smoking is what is making him feel concerned for him— but then again, Osomatsu did worry about all of his brothers, even Karamatsu.

He idly bats his brother's hand away, not hard at all. Guess he has no choice but to make his grand statement: ]</sub>

Hmph. I got in a fight in Ira.
_{[ also he killed a man, but.............. ]}

[aww! Osomatsu sits back then. fine, fine, he won't touch. but he is concerned. whether that is just the air, or the opium remains to be seen]

Oh yeah? Me too! [he grins again, feeling proud] Got my ass kicked, but I'm okay now! [a few scratches and bruises weren't enough to stop him]

[If anyone can sympathise with an instant desire to find comfort in food and drink, it would absolutely be Thor. He's only been here a month himself, but he thinks he's already figured out some of the better places to be.

He's already headed into the bar when Osomatsu asks him about it, so he thinks that should be sign enough. Still, he pauses and raises a brow as if momentarily wondering if he's seen this guy before. Then he seems to shrug.]

I've tasted better, but the more you eat, the more often they refresh your drinks. [Which obviously means it is the best place.]

[HMMMM! that does sound promising. more food, plus more drink, equals good! he rests his hands on his hips and nods, then, making his decision]

All right! Then I'll stay here for a while. Thanks, man!

iii.

[fujita]

[ dorothy doesn't mean to stay. she's been wandering through the districts to collect whatever plants might be used for medicinal purposes, since some of them seem quite special here, and she's been buying some medication, stocking up on things she thinks she could need. mostly, she's been getting very thoroughly sidetracked. but she really doesn't mean to stay here. gambling isn't her kind of thing, though her fingers are beginning to itch the longer she breathes the air of this district.

someone runs into her before she can decide whether to leave or enter one of the casinos after all. ]

I'm fine— [ she says and then squints. he looks like karamatsu and he looks like ichimatsu and dorothy has so far been okay telling the two of them apart, but she can't seem to figure out which one of them he is. and there's no recognition in his expression at all.

he hasn't complimented her yet, so he's probably not karamatsu. ] Are you one of the sextuplets? [ he obviously is, but—which one? ]

[Osomatsu opens his mouth to apologize again. but, ah. that's a weird question to ask someone right off the bat. well, it would be, if Osomatsu did not know there were other brothers here. she must have met either Karamatsu or Ichimatsu. and it seems as though she is fine, so he pulls back, rubbing his nose with a grin]

My reputation precedes me! [hehe] My name is Osomatsu!

[ is it such a weird question when he looks so much like his brothers? probably. it isn't the most tactful of introductions, at any rate; perhaps a little brusque even. dorothy doesn't know what to make of the brothers she knows, of karamatsu in particular. ]

Nice to meet you. I know two of your brothers, a bit.

[ "a bit". ]

Well, now that you've met me, you're halfway to knowing the full Matsuno experience! [more chuckling] What can I call you?

[ she did make out with karamatsu, so there is that. it was—an odd experience. ]

I'm Dorothy Gale. [ she sticks out her hand for him to shake and all. ]

[oh, hey! a shake! Osomatsu reaches for her hand, totally oblivious as to whatever happened between her and Karamatsu]

Nice to meet you, miss Gale! I don't know if my brothers told you anything about me, but it was probably all lies and slander! I'm actually pretty awesome! [are you, Osomatsu?]

[ oblivion and ignorance are not bad states when it comes to knowing about what happened between karamatsu and her. ]

They hadn't actually mentioned you. Just that there's six.

[ having to tell her that he's awesome makes him not seem particularly awesome... ]
